For My Grams
Martha L. Phillips GrantJune 25, 1921 - August 27, 2012
Do not stand at my grave and weep,I am not there; I do not sleep.I am a thousand winds that blow,I am the diamond glints on snow,I am the sun on ripened grain,I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hushI am the swift uplifting rushOf quiet birds in circling flight.I am the soft star-shine at night.Do not stand at my grave and cry,I am not there; I did not die.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your condolences.
DeleteIt's interesting how linkwithin software shows your 2008 post of your other grandma. You're blessed to have had both of them in your life.
ReplyDeleteYou have my sincere condolences. Blessings to you and your family as you take care of arrangements and adjust.
Yes, when my other grandma passed in 2008, I started to put up the photo and poem on her birthday. That poem was a real comfort to me during her memorial service. Thank you for your condolences.
